Geocache Description:

This is a multi-cache The coordinates will take you to the first of nine sites within MacArthur Park. If you complete the cache, you will be rewarded at the end.

MacArthur Park, Little Rock's first public park, was established in 1893 and is home to the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. The museum is located in the historic Arsenal Building. Built in 1840, the Arsenal Building is a National Historic Landmark and witnessed pivotal exchanges between Federal and Confederate forces during the Civil War. The building is also famous as the birthplace of General Douglas MacArthur. The park is full of monuments commemorating historical events in the Park and Little Rock, as well as restful places to sit and reflect on life.
