Thie cache is in a small thermos. It is tied and tucked into place and hopefully does not wash away in storms. Please be sure to close properly so contents stay dry.
Southeast Cove Beach
The tides rising over the sand bars help heat the water to 18 degrees celsius.
At low tide you may enjoy a brief time that the sand flatts are available to play in. You can find chairs to sit on, a picnic table and garbage cans to use to continue enjoying your day. These are put there on a seasonal basis. The items are there for you to use, but please place back the way the were found. The tides and winds can take them away and others will not be able to use them.
You will have a great view of other islands off in the ocean. You will be able to see East Ironbound Island, Flat Island and Grassy Island. No one is allowed on Grassy now.
