A fellow cacher used to have a micro on the bridge that sadly
had to be archived due city's make-up program. The area below the
bridge is very neat and provides people with a nice view of the
river. Take some time to enjoy the river, watch the calm flowing
waters, think about all the potential power the river has on its
waters, admire the engineering marvel of a bridge above your head.
I know it sounds silly but this is one of the many things
geocaching brings —at least— to my life.
When searching for the cache please remember and follow park
regulation as stated below:
- Hours: 6:00 am - 11:00 pm
- No liquor or cereal malt beverages
- No motorized vehicles except in parking areas
- No firearms or hunting
- No tree cutting
- No fires
The cache is a cookie tin can that has the appropriate
camouflage to prevent it from being muggled and to help improving
any geocacher's geocaching searching skills. From the trailhead
coordinates follow the path for about 200 feet. You can reach the
cache from any other place but why not to use a trail, right? I did
:)
