Not Your Average C.B. Traditional Cache
CoinBoss: Well this one lived thru two consecutive years with 100 year floods... Yet it's time has come to a close. If the park service decides to make a trail this way there may be another opening on this trail then. Thanks to all that enjoyed my childhood rail trail.

This is a nice hike along the Old Lancaster-Quarryville Line. Your looking for a 35mm film canister. Origional cache contained a FTF Micro Pathtag, a micro compass rose coin, a micro Jack Squat Coin and log.
Please obay the Private Property & No Tresspassing signs posted. Follow the trails and you will have no problems. You should be able to pickup 6 caches if you know where to look. ;) DON'T forget to bring a PEN!
Parking is available for at least 2 cars at the posted coordinates.
This hike brings back memories of when I was a kid growing up about two miles from here. We would fish, hike and play all through this area. I was even fishing with the neighbor for HUGE Snapping Turtles in the river as a kid. As I grew up I took on a newspaper route that spanned over 5 miles in the sourounding areas. I could almost always see the river and remember when there was only a road leading to where a cache named Matthew's Guardian (GC2PM0V) is hid now.
After 20 Years in the air Force I came back to the area and boy has it changed! Alot of new housing developments and new roads. But one thing stayed the same over the past 20 years... This trail, other then some trees getting thicker and taller, this trail is the same. You still get the nice feeling of being alone (Well unless you have someone with you.. LOL).
I have been wanting to put a few caches back here and .make a nice multiple cache trail out of this area of the Lancaster-Quarryville Line.
Enjoy the trail and the caches. BUT BE WARNED of the ATTRIBUTES... Recommend you wear LONG PANTS and Water/Gaterade if you cache in the summer months. (If you go in the winter you could probably get away with shorts.)
Congratulations to Bobby613 and LancasterPA#1951 for the Co FTF! Sorry about the bushwacking. :)
