Chirpy, Chirpy, Tweet, Tweet Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

skullracing: After 11 years of chirping it’s time to pack this one up as this sort of technology isn’t really used anymore in modern caching.

Thanks to everyone who came along and chirped their way along the river.

Cheers

Geocache Description:

We thought we’d mix things up a bit and have splurged on a Chirp. So here it is, a cache laid to accommodate it. As such you will require a chirp compatible device in order to locate GZ.

The commencement of this Chirp is accessible by car via the Lincoln Causeway, then turning into Harris Road (left when travelling southbound). There is modest room for parking and you will need to be prepared to leave your car for the duration of your quest. The starting co-ordinates will place you on a portion of the Wiradjuri walking/bicycle path. It is approximately 1.6km to GZ on a cement path, you should detect three chirps on your travels. As the batteries decline you may need to take a couple of steps off the pathway toward the co-ordinates to detect the chirp.

Please see attached link which may assist with any questions you may have and to determine what units are compatible with this function.

We hope that you enjoy this cache with a difference – the Chirp will direct you to GZ.
