Geocache Description:


The Girls on the Road have taken to the trails! After a fun time placing caches in Gaston County a few years ago, the women of Crescent Trekkers and Scrabblers have been at it again! While getting permission to place caches on the Spencer Mt. section of the Thread Trail, we were asked if we would place caches on another part of the Thread Trail in McAdenville!
Carolina Thread Trail: (visit link) These portions of the trail are owned by The Catawba Lands Conservancy (visit link) other parts are by easement, or generously allowed by private landowners. Special permission is needed to place caches on other areas of the trail.

**Maintenance on these beautiful public trails is done by all of us that walk and enjoy them. Please help by practicing CITO.
