Geocache Description:


Enjoy a lovely drive down a picturesque country lane to where my family settled after we were done roving about the country.

Make an afternoon visiting this lovely part of western Albemarle county by visiting Our Lady of the Angels Monastery right down the road - visit their chapel and/or purchase some fabulous cheese made by the nuns! And for some wine to go with that cheese, visit nearby Mountfair or White Hall Vineyards.

While looking for the cache, see if you can spy some Holstein cows grazing in the field next to the road. These lovely ladies are members of the last operating dairy in Albemarle county.

The cache is within 15 feet of the road; do not go past the private property sign and into the woods.

Please take a lapel-pin souvenir of your visit to Dunrovin to wear on your geocaching lanyard!
