I understand that throughout time, those serving in the military share what they can with local people who often have great needs for the simple basics of life. If they get to order supplies or ask for things from friends and family back home, their lists are often a combination of what they need personally and what they would like to share with others.
As a result, a service person in one area might ask for supplies such as nails, soap, detonators, burn dressings, socks, WD40, and medical syringes.
Someone in another location might ask for powdered milk, gloves, tents, rolls of fencing, toothpaste, morphine, tourniquets and mops.
The posted coordinates are not correct; as usual for my puzzles, they will lead you to water, although you don't have to drink.
