Geocache Description:

Snigsnig's To The Dungeon

cache placed by snigsnigThere are several areas of open space around Heswall and Thurstaston on the Wirral peninsular. The largest is the Heswall Dales, an area of dry, sandy heathland overlooking the River Dee. It has the status of both Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and Local Nature Reserve (LNR). Within this SSSI lies 'The Dungeon', a small tree-lined river valley cut into the hillside, the site to which this camo micro cache leads you; there is also a second bigger cache(GC2WGGT) situated at The Dungeon itself. The Dungeon defies its name, being a beautiful spot, and is popular with walkers and part of several circular walks. This cache is located at the beginning of the footpath which leads off The Wirral Way.

This is a camo Micro Cache containing a logbook and tiny pencil. Please ensure that it is tucked well back in place once you have signed the logbook. Stealth may be required at times as The Wirral Way can be busy with walkers and cyclists.
