Hidden along Trail 5 in the Elm Ridge Wild Forest. A small lock-n-lock hidden at ground level.
The Elm Ridge Trail 5 cache is hidden along the red blazed multi-use trails in the Elm Ridge Wild Forest. There are 5 loop trails here that start off of the Escarpment Trail. Hike in off of Rte 23 and you will see the trail just past the registration box. Each trail is different and you will go from meadows, to birch and hemlock forest. You will also see streams, and rocks along the way.
This cache was set following the DEC guidlines Part 190: Use Of State Lands.
