The Coin Cache III aka Fountain Cache

Back on December 22nd, 2009, our family decided to do something different on one of our days off during the Christmas holidays. We decided to try geocaching. I loaded a GPS application onto my iPhone, learned how to load coordinates, found a couple cool coins and other swag and we were off.

We struggled and looked and finally, my wife found our first cache - The Coin Cache III aka Fountain Cache. Those that have found this cache, know this was a tough find. GPS bounce, lots of targets, etc.

On March 21st, 2011, The Coin Cache III aka Fountain Cache was archived; much to my sadness. Our first cache is no longer there. But, I had a solution! We would place a cache nearby in honor of our first cache and the horsegeeks who placed it.
