This is the first time I've hidden a cache so I hope it works:).
Park your car at the end of Redwood Street. There are two ways to get to "The Crown", the "Mt Vernon Track"is the steeper route. At the top on a nice day you can see the North Island and all along Wairau Valley. Not only do you get an amazing view, there is also lots of information about"Landform" in the area. The return trip will take you about 1 1/2 hours. Take your own pen, you will need it for more than writing.
26/1/2009 please put the small stones in front and back of the cache, this should help prevent the wind from blowing the cache out of its place. Thank you
