Northwest Geocaching College. Lapillus Path. Lapillus Path (Lapillus meaning Stony particles or fragments ejected from volcanoes). The Cache is a small Bison tube, please bring your own pen for this one and please replace the cache how you found it. It is easiest to access the cache by parking the car at S 33 44.225 E 150 52.359.
Lesson #1: Why do we do Geocaching? We do Geocaching for some or all of the following reasons………. a) For recreation. b) To be the first to find. c) To boast about how many Geocaches one has found. d) To go to new and exciting places that you wouldn’t otherwise find. eg Lookouts, Parks. e) To meet other Cachers f) The challenge of finding something that someone else has hidden. g) We are painfully forced to by other obsessed cachers. h) To be amazed by the technology that a GPS unit can put you to within 1m of a Geocache. (We do take these things for granted) i) All of above As part of some research of this Geocaching College, could Cachers please tells us the GPS unit they used to find this cache when they go to log their find. The Western Sydney Parklands track starts here. Set in the heart of Western Sydney, The Western Sydney Parklands contain world class sporting facilities, popular picnic areas, a full length cycle/walking track and native bushland. Covering 5,280 hectares, the Parklands stretch 27 kilometres from Quakers Hill to Leppington and are twenty five times the size of Centennial Park. The Western Sydney Parklands are part of the NSW Government's new vision for contemporary, urban living in Western Sydney and are the perfect place to spend the day with family and friends - all without leaving your own backyard. The park is opened all hours of the day and the cache shouldn't be too hard to find. This is our first cache, we hope you enjoy the lesson. Now follow the path to lesson number 2.
