Nous vous proposons de partir à la chasse, à la cache, sur la Petite Ceinture, autour de l'ancienne gare SNCF "Pont de Flandres", en direction du dépôt de l'évangile … La Petite Ceinture est une ancienne voie de chemin de fer désaffectée, utilisée jusqu'en avril 1934. 32km de long : un grand terrain de jeu pour les Geocacheurs parisiens …
Direction l'Est de Paris (tronçon Est Ceinture) et la gare désaffectée / squattée du Pont de Flandres. Les quais sont encore là, parfois remplacés par des petits morceaux de jardins potagers sauvages. La gare est murée, dommage, mais on sent ici un parfum d'une époque révolue : intéressant d'y passer … On y croise souvent des petits groupes de promeneurs, de graffeurs et des photographes ...
Plus loin en remontant vers le nord, le dépôt de l'évangile. Il semble que ce dépôt soit idéalement situé sur la jonction Nord/Est de la Petite Ceinture et était utilisé pour stocker les trains (à vapeur) de manœuvres, ainsi que pour le relais des personnels. Il aurait été installé aux alentours de 1890/1900. L'ambiance y est particulière, étrangement calme, entre les voies désaffectées, les chantiers voisins, et ce grand hall mystérieusement vide …
Une belle promenade à faire en petit groupe avec des chaussures solides. Eviter de vous balader seul ou la nuit et évitez les longs tunnels. Officiellement, l'accès des piétons à la petite ceinture est strictement interdit, mais les promenades y sont courantes et une tolérance globale y est appliquée …
