Great Amwell Amble No 1 Traditional Cache

This is a circular walk of about 4 1/2 miles. It mainly follows footpaths with some lane walking on the return journey which is usually quiet except during school pickup/dropoff times.
Please NOTE that there is a BULL in the field between caches 3 and 4.
Please note that all caches are all along the route indicated and not more than a few foot from the footpath.
This cache is placed close to the main road into Stanstead St Margarets village from the Amwell Roundabout. From the cache take the track away from the road across the field and bridge over the A414. Follow this track up to Ware Road, passing Abi's 10/10 cache. Turn left alongside the pavement ignoring the footpath opposite until you reach a bus stop just before a petrol station. Take the footpath opposite on the right.
