Mr Two Owls' favourite place in the world.
A nice little walk along the left bank of the River Spey,taking you past some of the best salmon fishing pools in Scotland.
This cache is in a small canister hidden in the ground. Please conceal after signing the cache.
Please do not walk over farmer's field to reach the cache... walk round the edge of the river.
If you are lucky you might see a salmon rise in the pool across the water. This is the " the Long Pool".
Please keep your dogs on a lead if there are sheep in the field,especially in spring when some of the ewes will be near lambing. Also roe deer are sometimes seen nearby and they don't like being chased. Should there be fishermen at the water beware of flying lines and lures. You never know you might be shouted at to bring the net from the hut....to help a fisherman land a salmon!!!
