Mon ami me dit « ce n’est pas la seule statue de cheval de
Maisons Laffitte, j’ai entendu parler d’une autre
encore plus célèbre dont le cheval s’appelle ‘ Dollar
‘, peut être devrais tu t’y rendre ». Aimablement il me
donne les coordonnées en me précisant que je peux y aller à pied,
en vélo ou à cheval mais que j’évite la voiture.
En fait il n’y a que 1500 mètres et pour les géocacheurs
c’est rien. Me voilà donc parti à ….

Et je vois.
My friend told me "this is not

Le magnifique pur-sang Dollar qui était le cheval d’Auguste
Lupin. En fait je n’apprendrai par la suite que cette statue,
non seulement n’est pas la véritable représentation du cheval
de Lupin, mais qu’en plus l’original a été volé il y a
30 ans.
Comme quoi ! Tout n’est pas toujours vrai.
