This cache is placed near the actual summit of Y Mountain. Most people just hike to the west side of the mountain for the view which is actually a false summit. The actual summit doesn't have as good of a view of the valley, but has a spectacular view of Rock Canyon, Cascade, Provo Peak, Maple Mountain, and all along Squaw Peak Road.
Cache is located north-east of the summit cairn. Three spoiler pics are provided to make sure you find it.
A word of warning: Cache location is NOT child/geo-pet friendly. The location is near a sheer cliff hundreds of feet high. The summit is easily reached with snow, but do not attempt to get the cache if there is snow at the actual cache location (or if the rocks are wet from rain). No cache is worth that kind of risk.
