Geocache Description:

Camo'ed plastic jar - bigger than small but smaller than regular! Will hold swag and trackables.

Cache #14 inspired by a list of 100 must-read novels I discovered last year. It is not necessary to have read the book to find the cache. There is something about the location that makes me think of the novel.

Robert Tressell's novel "The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists" is unusual in that it was written by a supposedly illiterate working class man and was not intended for publication. It was published in 1914, after his heirs found the manuscript in his estate. Set with the backdrop of home renovation, it is a very political novel, depicting the life of the working classes and showing how they perpetuated their conditions by working for entrepreneurs.

Congrats to Lady Orca and Charlie Too on the FTF
