Geocache Description:

In the Trinity River Corridor Project.

No headless horsemen or Icabod Crane here. Sleepy Hollow was a golf course and country club, here in the Trinity River flood plane for half a century.

Established in 1957 as RiverLakes, the 71-par golf course was renamed Sleepy Hollow, in the 1970s and eventually shuttered in 2006.

It is now being left by the city to be reclaimed by Mother Nature.
