This is a fairly easy cache located in the Glanbrook Ravine. Cache camo is delicate: please handle with care and replace as found. A cache is only as good as it's camo so don't ruin it for the next person. Thanks.
This is a very nice forested walk through the New Westminster Glenbrook Ravine Park. Even if you are familiar with the ravine, this may be a place you have over looked in the past.
If you are planning on a quick cache grab, the nearest access point is a set of stairs just a few meters from the cache location. The lane is off Richmond Street, near Kwantlen Court, and there is room for 1-2 cars to park along the side of the road. There is no sign indicating a "No Parking" Zone so I think you are okay.
However, if you plan on doing a few other caches in the ravine, it might be better to park at either end of the ravine and walk the entire thing....I believe there are about 4 caches along the way (I planted 3 of them myself today).
At the south end is Glenbrook Ravine Park amenities building, which has a free parking lot, and is located off Jamieson Court. The north end offers street parking along Glenbrook Drive and there is a rather steep dirt trail, which can be muddy in wet weather. It's uphill from the amenities building so decide whether you want the climb on the way out or on your return trip.
Great place to walk your dog too and let the kids run!
The cache container has a log book and room for small trade items only. BRING YOU OWN PEN.
