Do you feel "Lucky"? Multi-Cache
horseshoecachers: Final cache went missing again. I am going to rethink my container and location on this one and then update it. It may take me a month or so to get back to this one as I am extremely busy at the moment.

To the southeast you can see "Lucky Point" Be careful and park off the bridge by the road.
This cache is just a set of coordinates written in the bottom of a plastic box. Plug the numbers in to the following:
N38' xx.xxx
W087' xx.xxx
This will take you to the other side of Lucky point so look north when you get there to see it from the other side and a little closer up.
A lot of people don't really know where Lucky Point really is. Many think it is a wooded area near Kessinger Ditch (Pond Creek) off of Lucky Point road. You can see it from there but it is not actually that close to that road even. This cache is intended to give you a view of Lucky Point from both sides.
Lucky Point is really a ridge of land that sticks out into a low lying area that hunters used many years ago because it caused a natural "bottleneck" and caused the animals to pass though this area to avoid both climbing though the thick woods and walking in a lake that once was in the area. It is listed on most USGS maps as a Unique geological feature.
In more modern times the term "Lucky" has taken on a different meaning.........
Another thing this area is famous for back in the 70's and 80's is UFO sightings. There are many theories as to what was going on or at least what people thought was going on in the area. There are several websites that talk about the stuff that people were seeing here. Including a few Youtube videos.
