Geocache Description:

This is a new mini-park in Sumter County. Plenty of parking.

It has a boat ramp for small boats: flat bottom, canoes and kayaks. The boat ramp is deeper than the rest of the water in the area. They dug it deep enough to float the boats off the trailers. When this cache was released, the water off the dock was about 12-18" deep. It's iffy if a pontoon could make it to Lake Panasoffkee. A small covered pavillion with 1 table, is available near the water. The area for boat parking is near the water and the other vehicle parking is just south of that.

The person that does the park maintenance knows about Geocaching but not where the caches are located.

There is a sign in the parking area to the east side that faces towards the railroad tracks. I wonder if the railroad workers think it is some kind of joke. It says, NO TRESPASSING. Maybe the park is only open to the public and not them.
