easy to medium find near the st. croix and lake mallalieu
you can park on wisconsin street and walk in or drive the long unmarked dirt park road. There is parking at the end of the road. this is a spot that is very popular with fishermen but you won't disturb them while looking for this cache. please observe the no trespassing signs as well as the private property markings around this spot. every week I see people get ticketed for trespassing on the abandoned train bridge. excellent vistas may distract you on either side. lake mallalieu is a pleasure lake created by the dam you can see, the saint croix views of minnesota are spectacular. here is a spot that can really use some cache in trash out help even though trash cans are provided to the public. small cash awaits!
