Geocache Description:

Brodbeck Nature Preserve. Sugar Maple, The main tree used for production of Maple Syrup. The one you seek is medium sized with a forked crown.

Its a fairly long and difficult hike to this cache especially if ur doing these caches in a circle route. First you must find the tree then put on ur geosence thinking cap and search the surrounding area from the goods. Note- its much easier to get to pennsylvanica to go upstream and cross at the Y, and you'll find a very large Juglans nigra at that point to boot.In the root flare No climbing needed.
