Geocache Description:

This area used to be a forgotten drainage easement until a few years ago. Then the Cann Valley Landcare got together, landscaped and planted the indigenous flora that you can see here today. "A pleasant place with many joyful things to gaze upon"

This cache is right at the start of a walking trail which one day will take you all the way to Noorinbee, via the banks of the Cann River and the Noorinbee trail at the other side of town. The bollards were painted by the local school students, the stepping stones were made by locals as part of a Landcare working bee, and the little bridge is brand new. Special thanks to the East Gippsland Specialist School for donating the picnic table.
