One of our “Memories” series. Before the airport runway was extended, there was a great place to park on Lindbergh Blvd. and watch the planes land or take off right over your head. We used to take our kids there and just marvel at how those huge jets could get off the ground. While driving around in the no-man’s-land that used to be Carrollton subdivision, we found this spot that is very near the end of the runway. It's not as dramatic a place to plane spot, but can still be entertaining. There is safe parking within a few feet of the cache.
