An easy drive-by cache near the Stenness Church and cemetery, which contains the War Memorial to commemorate those service personnel lost in World War I and World War II. Stealth may be required as the car park to the church can be busy at times.
This is a delightful location at the south-east corner of the Loch of Stenness with fine views of the surrounding countryside all around.
The cache has been placed outside the boundary of the church, however, please take time to visit the imposing War Memorial within the cemetery. The church is worth a visit if it is open. Please have a look at the associated webpage for further information regarding the history of the church.
The cache is a small bottle with log and pencil.
