Bright Idea Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TX_SilverEagle: I will not be reactivating this cache. Although I drive by every day, it doesn't get enough visitors. There is too much traffic along the Interstate in this location for a comfortable stop.

Geocache Description:

"Bright Idea" is a very short walk from the southbound shoulder of I-37, just the other side of the shallow ditch.

From this location you can see the new solar array leased by the San Antonio public power company, CPS Energy. The 14 Megawatts generated here go to a local substation transformer where it supplies a local neighborhood.*

*Thanks to Electic Water Boy for the info. (Updated 3/25/12.)

7/8/11 - reduced the difficulty rating as I zip-tied the new container to the tree. Hopefully it will be more muggle resistant. If you can't find it, it was stolen again, or you are at the wrong GZ. Difficulty remains "up to 2" depending on your stooping abilities and conditions of the ground cover density and recent rain activity.
