Geocache Description:

Fyrdog recently reached five hundred finds! That's a big milestone
and here's a celebratory cache for them.

Not too far from fyrdog's Mineral Springs cache in the Andrew G. Weeks Memorial Forest you will find a large camo-painted jar with some stuff in it.

Park in the Trail Parking area across from the old, brick schoolhouse on Carpenter Hill Road. There is no parking here in winter -- use the Grange Parking lot on Guilford Center Road.

The easy Carriage Trail takes you part of the way. Then the way to the cache consists of old grown-up logging trails -- requiring bushwhacking and the crossing of the brook. If you find the old logging bridge, DON'T USE IT! It's falling apart.

On the way in you'll pass the Mineral Springs Gas Saver cache and the Mineral Springs cache.

Thanks to fyrdog for placing so many caches around here, including my first unofficial find at Sweet Pond. At the time, I didn't know who fyrdog was and I didn't know that I knew them in real life. So thanks for being fyrdog and congratulations on finding 500 caches!
