Things you might not know about
Selenium:
- Selenium sulfide is used in dandruff control
shampoos. No doubt the "Sel" in "Selsun" comes from this
ingredient.
- Selenium is also an essential material in the
drums of laser printers and copiers.
- The largest use of selenium worldwide is in
glass and ceramic manufacturing, where it is used to give a red
color to glasses, enamels and glazes.
