Neodymium (nee-o-dim-ee-əm) is
a chemical element with the symbol Nd and it has an atomic
number of 60. The atomic mass is 144.242. 
Things you might not know about
Neodymium:
- Neodymium magnets are the strongest permanent
magnets known.
- Due to this high magnetic capacity, it is
heavily used in the electric motors of hybrid automobiles and in
the electricity generators of commercial wind turbines.
- Neodymium may be used to color glass in
delicate shades ranging from pure violet through wine-red and warm
gray.
