This is my First GeoCache, I've placed it here at this new Park & Lake in St. Peters because the Grand opening was on my Anniversary, and since today is my Birthday I thought I'd do something Memorable. This is an Easy Park-N-Grab. It's a Bison Tube, so Bring a Pen. Good Luck!
Permission to place this Cache was Given by the Park Manager. She just asks that all Geocacher's Follow Park Rules and Hours(Sunrise to Sunset)
This is a Very Nice Park, it Features:
•A Lakeside Park campground that has 50 full-service RV sites right now, with tent sites available.
• You can boat on the 140-acre lake. You can use the free boat launch for your own watercraft, whether it's a paddle boat, kayak, canoe or any boat with an electric trolling motor (no gas engines, please).
•Boat rentals are also available at the check-in station near the marina. Choose from kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and sea cycles.
•Fish from a boat or the bank. The lake is stocked with bass, bluegill, channel catfish, crappie and any number of species that have made their way from the Mississippi River. Bring your fishing gear and a state fishing license.
•A three-mile biking and hiking trail goes around the lake. There's a great view of the entire park from atop the agricultural levee on the north side.
