Geocache Description:

This is a 5 mile circular fenland walk around one side of the village of Over. This walk includes caching hounds favourite walks. This is a series of 18 caches (19 if you grab Webbs Hole which is on route).

Most of the caches are unusual ones – they are all different and there are only three that are ‘normal’ caches. Some of them will be difficult to find because they are unusual – we haven’t seen some of them before anywhere else! The walk is suitable for dogs and children but neither for pushchairs nor wheelchairs. In winter, wellies would be advisable. The walk is easy going – it’s in the fen so it’s flat! It took us 3 hours to walk and place the caches - the walk without any faffing can be done in under 2 hours so time depends on how long you spend searching for the caches…. Occasionally the river banks have cows on them – they are supposed to be friendly….! It is advisable to bring tweezers with you and parking is available at the first cache. Please place caches back exactly as found. Please be careful of the electric fence - the cache is nowhere near the fence. You don't need to leave the drove to reach this one. If you find the wooden post which is lying down, you will find the cache. You do not need to touch or move the post. Please leave the wooden post where it is and please be careful where you step!
