Bovine Bluff Traditional Cache
The ColliCrew: Had a look again this morning and it does appear to have disappeared again. So after a good few years of it being here I have decided to archive it for good.

The cache is located on one of the paths that take you to Cwm Colhugh, the beach at Llantwit Major. While the path is fairly flat it is bumpy in places and may not be suitable for wheelchairs or buggies. If you would like a longer walk you could continue along the Heritage Coast to St Donats, Ogmore by Sea and Porthcawl.
There are several possible routes to the cache. Parking at the residental street (Parking 1) will take you to the cache following our favorite walk to Llantwit beach. Follow the path past the B & B (white building on left), bear right past the farm, through two metal gates, up a hill and past several old holiday chalets. Look behind you to see a great view of Llantwit Major and straight ahead to see a wonderful view of the beach and Bristol Channel. The cache is at the top of a steep slope, I (Mrs C) always knew as the cow run as the cows on the hilltop used this route to get to the bottom meadow. As there may be livestock around the farm please keep dogs on a lead. You are looking for a small plastic container. Please replace the cache as you found it and beware of muggles they can suddenly appear from nowhere. If you decide to walk from Llantwit beach to the cache it can be reached by walking along the path inbetween the two cliffs until you reach waypoint N 51 23.980 W003 29.514 which is a bridge that will take you across the little stream beware though the bridge is very narrow so pushchairs and wheelchairs will not get over. The bottom of the cow run is the other side of the stream.
