Geocache Description:

The Maricopa Trail is a project in the making that, when completed, will connect all ten county parks in Maricopa County. The non-motorized trail will be 242 miles in length and projected to be completed in 2014.

Maricopa Trail is limited to hiking, horseback riding, biking and, in some portions, inline skating.

This is the seventh cache in that section between Sun Vally Parkway and White Take Park. This one can be reached from the west end of West Greenway Road. Although you see a "No Trespassing" sign at this location, many folks enter this area at this point to fly their model airplanes, hike, and bike. Many times the gate is open and many drive through. This cache is located near where the trail crosses West Greenway Road.
