Kostol sv. Anny v Strazkach

    Obec Strazky sa rozprestiera na lavom brehu rieky Poprad a v sucastnosti je mestskou castou Spisskej Belej. V nevelkej aglomeracii s nevelkym poctom obyvatelov sa nachadza unikatny subor stavieb, ktore su Narodnymi kulturnymi pamiatkami (od roku 1970).
    Jednou zo stavieb je rimsko-katolicky kostol sv.Anny. Vystavba kostola spada na koniec 15. resp na zaciatok 16.st.. V tomto obdobi boli Strazky v drzbe radu Kartuzianov, zaciatkom 16.st. presla do drzby rodiny Tarcayovcov. Neskor, v polovici 16.st. sa dostali ako donacia do majetku Horvath-Stansithovcom.
    Kostol sv. Anny je jednolodova stavba na stvorcovom podoryse, zaklenuta krizovou klenbou, ktora je zvedena na stredny pilier. Presbyterium (knaziste) je zaklenute jednym polom rebrovej krizovej klenby a ma polygonalny uzaver. Na severnej strane prilieha k presbyteriu goticka sakristia, k lodi slohovo mladsia pristavba krypty (1706). Cela stavba ma neskorogoticky charakter, v duchu ktoreho sa nesie aj vnutorna vyzdoba v podobe nastennych malieb a mobiliar. Do kostola sa vstupuje cez juznu predsien, ktora je zaklenuta valenou klenbou a poloblukovym portalom s kamennym ostenim v tvare pretinajucich sa prutov v profile.
    V interieri su zachovane tri neskorogoticke tabulove oltare mimoriadnej kvality. Hlavny oltar zo zaciatku 16.st. je zasvateny svatej Anne, ustrednou plastikou je Mettercia, alebo sv. Anna Samotretia. Je to kompozicia zlozena zo sv. Anny, Panny Marie a Jeziska, patri k neobycajne vzacnym zobrazenian tohoto motivu. Archu - oltarnu skrinu doplnaju malby - postava sv. Joachima a sv. Jozefa. Na pohyblivych kridlach su namalovane vyjavy zo zivota sv. Anny na otvorenej strane oltara, na zadnej strane su namalovane sceny z Pasioveho cyklu. Bocny oltar zo zaciatku 16.st. svatych Simona a Judu Tadeasa ma taktiez bohatu maliarsku a rezbarsku vyzdobu. V arche stoja plastiky spominanych svatcov, na predele je namalovany motiv Vir dolorum - Muz bolesti, po stranach s Pannou Mariou a sv. Janom Evanjelistom. Oltar ma pohyblive kridla s 8 maliarskymi vyjavmi na drevenych tabuliach, na otvorenej strane legendarne vyjavy zo zivota svatcov, na uzavretych kridlach cast Pasioveho cyklu. Cely nadstavec oltara je bohato vyrazavany a dekorovany typickou ornamentikou neskorogotickeho obdobia. Tretim oltarom je mariansky bocny oltar s ustrednym obrazom Madony s oblecenym Jeziskom na fantazijnom drakovi, po stranach stoja postavy sv. Katariny a sv. Barbory. Oltar doplnaju dvaja svatci, starsi je sv. Mikulas a mladsi je sv. Stanislav. Najvzacnejsou sucastou oltara je plastika Madony s Jeziskom, napriek torzovitosti niektorych casti tiel a vyzdoby. Kvalitou vypracovania, vyrazu sa radi medzi najlepsie neskorogoticke plastiky.
    Interier tejto takmer intaktne zachovanej stavby vhodne doplnaju novo odkryte nastenne malby, ktore boli v case reformacie zakryte vapennym naterom. Malby pochadzaju z druheho desatrocia 16.st., su vyhotovene technikou al seco - na suchu omietku, a al fresco - do mokrej omietky. Na zapadnej stene su v pasoch rozvrhnute sceny z Pasioveho cyklu vytvorene podla predloh vyznamnych grafikov tej doby - Albrecht Durer, Lucas Cranach. Predlohy sa pomocou drevorytov dostali do celej Europy. Z renesancneho obdobia sa v kostole zachovala krstitelnica z cerveneho mramoru z roku 1593, ktoru zakryva polychromovana drevorezba ludoveho charakteru z 18.st.. Cast hnutelnych pamiatok z mobiliara kostola je dnes sucastou zbierok SNG v Bratislave.

Renesancna zvonica v Strazkach

    Renesancna zvonica spolu s neskorogotickym kostolom sv. Anny a renesancnym kastielom tvoria vyznamny komplex Narodnych kulturnych pamiatok. Zvonica je typickym reprezentantom svojho druhu, ma torzovite zachovalu bohatu ornamentalnu vyzdobu v technike obrateneho sgrafita. Stavba je murovana, blokova na stvorcovom podoryse postavena koncom 16. resp. zaciatkom 17.st., sgrafitova vyzdoba je datovana rokom 1629. Vyzdobu realizoval majster s inicialami H. B., ktore zanechal v napise Soli deo HB 1629 Gloria. Napis je umiestneny na juznej strane zvonice nad trojicou zvukovych okien a pasom bohatej rozvilinovej dekoracie. Na naroziach je zvonica zdobena bosazou , stitky na atike su subtilnejsie ako v Spisskej Belej a su zdobene sgrafitom. V urovni prveho nadzemneho podlazia sa vstupuje do priestoru zvonice po drevenom schodisku cez kamenny portalik v osi prveho okna z prava. V tej istej osi sa na prizemi nachadza este jeden vstup cez jednoduchy kamenny portalik so zalomenym oblukom. Stavitelom zvonice, ktora stoji v areali kostola sv. Anny bol Ulrich Meterer.

Church of St. Anne Strazky

    Strazky village is situated on the left bank of the river Poprad, and currently is a district of Spisska Bela. In the small urban area with a small number of residents is a unique set of buildings, which are national cultural monuments (since 1970).
    One of the buildings is the Roman Catholic Church of St. Anna. Construction of the church falls on the end of the 15th or on top 16th century. During this period they were held Strazky Carthusian order, beginning 16th passed into the possession of family Tarcayovcov. Later, in the mid-16th century is given as a donation to the property Horváth-Stansithovcom.
    St. Anna is a single nave building on a square floor plan, ribbed vaulting, which is seduced by the middle pillar. Presbytery is vaulted one field rib cross arches and has a polygonal cap. On the north side adjacent to the presbytery Gothic sacristy, to the ship style outbuilding younger crypt (1706). The whole building has a late character, the spirit which is borne by the interior decoration in the form of wall paintings and furniture. To enter the church through the south porch, which is arched barrel vault and semi-arch portal with stone lining in the form of intersecting rods in profile.
    Inside are preserved three late Gothic altar plate of exceptional quality. The main altar of the early 16th century, is dedicated to St. Anne, the central sculpture is Mettercia, or St. Anna Selfthird. It is a composition comprising St. Anna, Mary and Baby Jesus, is extremely scarce to view this theme. Arch - altar cabinet added painting - the figure of St. Joachim and St. Joseph. For moving the wings are painted scenes from the life of St. Anna on the open side of the altar, on the back of the painted scenes from the Passion cycle. The side altar of the 16th century Saints Simon and Jude Thaddaeus is also rich paintings and woodcarvings. In the ark standing sculptures of saints mentioned, on the bulkhead is painted motif Vir dolorum-Man pain, sides with the Virgin Mary and St. John the Evangelist. The altar has movable wings with 8 painting scenes on the wooden boards, on the open side of legendary scenes from the lives of saints, on the closed wings of the Passion cycle. The entire extension of the altar is richly carved wooden and decorated typical ornamentation of Late Gothic periods. The third altar is the Virgin Mary side altar with a central image of the Madonna and baby Jesus dressed on the a fanciful dragon, after the sides standing the figures of St. Catherine and St. Barbara. Altar added two saints, older is St. Nicholas and the younger St. Stan. The most valuable part of the altar is a statue of the Madonna and baby Jesus, in spite of some fragments of body parts and decoration. Quality development, the expression is one of the best late Gothic sculpture
    The interior of this building preserved almost intact suitably complement the newly uncovered murals that were hidden during the Reformation lime paint. The paintings come from the second decade of the 16th century, are made al seco technique - on the dry plaster, and al fresco - in the wet plaster. On the western wall in strips staged scenes from the Passion cycle created by masters of important graphic that time - Albrecht Dürer, Lucas Cranach. Originals by means of woodcuts get all over Europe. From the Renaissance period in church maintained baptistery of red marble from 1593 which covers the polychrome woodcarving folk character from the 18th centry. Part of movable monuments of furniture for the church today is part of the collections of National Gallery in Bratislava

Renaissance bell tower in Strazky

    Renaissance bell tower with late gothic church of St. Anne and renaissance mansion complex accounted for a significant National cultural monuments. Bell tower is a typical representative of its kind, has maintained partially richly ornamental decoration technique in reverse sgraffiti. The building is brick, block built on the square shape of the late 16th respectively early 17th century, sgraffito decoration dating from the 1629th. Decoration made with master initials H. B., which has left the inscription Soli deo HB 1629 Gloria. The inscription is on the south side of the bell tower over the trio of acoustic windows and waist rich decorations. On the corner of the bell tower decorated bossage, labels on the attic are more subtle than in Spisska Bela and are decorated with sgraffiti. The level of the first upper floors are entering the space of bell tower a wooden staircase through the stone portal in axis the first window from the right. In the same axis on the ground floor there is one entrance through a simple stone arch cranked portal. Builder of the bell tower, standing in the campus church of St. Anna was Ulrich Meterer.
