The Swasey brothers made this area their hood as skillful cowboys. One of the brothers, Rod, named this beautiful valley "Rod's Valley" with 4x4 trail#B6852 running through it south from the Swasey cabin connecting to the Reds Canyon.
Small tin filled with treasures which Rod could climb up to easily.
