Welcome to Mount Barker... home of (according to my kids) the "soldiers." When this Art-welcome-entry sign was put up many people (with obviously more time than me) voiced disapproval... in fact one person even was quoted as saying she was 'embarrassed to live in Mount Barker now'...really??? are you that critical and shallow???
Well in response my wife replied to that letter to the editor saying that 'our kids loved them and said hello whenever we drove past... especially at night!'
So this is my 5yo daughter Naomi's cache who thought a cache at the soldiers would be great! she is in the picture... For the full effect of the soldiers visit at night but use a bit of stealth (especially around school pickup and drop off hours)... the cache isn't really close so that we don't cause a stir.
