Benmore is New Zealand largest hydro power station on the Waitaki River.
This is a different view looking back up the spillways. When flood water is flowing down the spillways it makes a remarkable sight. The cache, a small pill container is hidden at this site. Retrieving the cache at times of high flood could be a damp experience for the cachers as a heavy damp spray can extend this far.
