This is Lil' B's first cache in a spot we found in our local park.
Cache is located off trail in a nice little canyon. Most of the way is pretty flat but you may need to go up hill near the end. No need for rock climbing. To give an idea of terrain: Lil' B is in preschool and made it there with little difficulty.
Cache is located in Governor Dodge State Park in the un-glaciated area of SW Wisconsin. The park hosts a variety of terrain types and this cache is tucked away in a lush little box canyon prevalent with ferns and Garlic Mustard*. This is a sensitive area, so please stay on the existing volunteer trail as much as possible, you will need to go off trail to finally find the cache but please be gentle.
Cache container is a small plastic locking container with some small trade items.
*Garlic Mustard is a nasty little weed that threatens to take over the forest floor. You can help prevent the spread by brushing off your pants/socks/shoes after you're done with the trail.
