Geocache Description:

Somewhere just off J6 on the M8 lies a former reservoir where a very important little fish was born. He was different from all the other fish in the pond, he was a Salmon!!! His parents called him Alex. He dreamed of freedom and was fiercely independent. His driving force was ultimately to develop his pond into a place that all little fish would be proud of!!

However he recognised the need to travel and avoid his deadly enemy ‘CHIPS’

(Follow Alex Salmon – “TB3RT72” travel bug, to see how his quest is going)

I can somehow identify with this little guy. The traditional term ‘Pisces’ is considered a typological classification, and is my star sign. Most fish are cold-blooded or ‘ectothermic’ allowing their body temperatures to vary as ambient temperatures change – Hey there I’m ‘ECTOTHERMVA’. A fish has a streamlined body for rapid swimming and since defeating the deadly enemy ‘CHIPS’ so do I!!. This cache was set up to allow little Alex Salmon to follow his dream!!. If your lucky to come across him on your geocaching travels – please say Hi from all the little fish who remain in the little pond

It’s a great pleasure to name a joint FTF to both 6669 (a fabtastic WELL DONE on your 500th find) and Heathland!!! Thanks for enjoying my new cache!!!
