This cache is placed at a near the Redwood Peak, in the Redwood Regional Park, which is in the hills above Oakland. This is arguably one of the loveliest of all the parks among the many great East Bay regional parks, with many redwood groves and other forests.
The cache is now a geocaching snap-lock container, hidden under some logs and rocks, about 10 meters (30 feet) north of the boulder area, between two tall trees one foot apart.
