Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed for BTTCAR2 - Boomtown Trail Cache and Release 2. Caches will be released to the public on the evening of June 16th to give everyone time to solve puzzles and plan their route, but they should not be located until 12 noon on June 18th.

Hid under the categories of "Rural" and "Buffalo". Hid with Heather from Stettler Board of Trade & Tourism.

The history of East Central Alberta is closely linked to that of the North American buffalo or bison. These great animals once roamed from Canada to Mexico, spanning the plains and the mountains. Their former numbers are commonly estimated at 60 million.
