Historic Caches of Huron County Challenge

Historic Caches of Huron County Challenge: In an effort to build cacher awareness of the historic caches in Huron County, Michigan, this challenge has been issued.

The cache container for this challenge is located at the given coordinates. In order to claim a find on this challenge, you must find and log five of the seven current oldest existing caches in Huron County.

Once the five caches have been found and logged, you may find and log this cache. You may either prove you have met the challenge by posting your finds to a public bookmark (best way) or you may list your finds in the body of your log on this cache. Either way, be sure to give the waypoint, cache name, and date found. Prior finds do count.

On 9/3/2012, GCM742 Two of Us, GCM74D "Lured" Ya here, GCM74H Paws and Claws were archived. I will still accept finds on these three caches BEFORE the 9/3/2012 archived date to count towards this challenge. I will also accept finds on the next oldest caches in Huron County which are GCPE8D Picnic in the Park, GCPE86 Dash to Stash, GCNWGK Above Waters Edge (before the archived 9-3-12 date) and GCPWJZ When a Body Meets a Body.  I will also accept "Angel on Your Shoulder" before the archived date of 2/17/2022.

The cache is a small ammo container. Please respect the hours for caching in a cemetery. The terrain is slightly hilly. Please be careful. In order to claim this cache as "found" you must physically find the container and sign the log book.

Please read the requirements to claim this find. Your log WILL BE DELETED if you have not found 5 of the 7 oldest caches in Huron County.
