area.

various items which will include cache containers, Geocaching.com
items and various other cache related goodies. The specific items
for raffle will be listed on the WSGA website under the Puget Sound
Chapter forum as the items become
available.

TB/Coin Exchange
Geo Savenger Hunt: We will have a Geo-Scavenger Hunt
at the event with a drawing at the end for a
prize.
Creative Cache Fair: From 3:30 PM - 4:30PM we will have
a Creative Cache Fair. This will consist of several local cachers
with examples of their cache creations on display. Cachers can stop
by meet these caching masterminds and discuss camo techniques,
cache container and cache page designs. I am currently working on a
list of cachers who will be participating in the CCF and will
update as I get confirmation from the individual
cachers.
Event Puzzle: (NEW) Just added! PhilNi, our resident eastside puzzle
master, has designed a puzzle cache specifically for this event! As
with all of his puzzle caches, this one can be solved at the event.
The cache is hidden somewhere in Newcastle near the park. Puzzle
sheets will be available at the picnic. The cache will go live
during the event! First to find, gets a 2011 WSGA coin. To solve
the puzzle, you will want to bring a pencil, eraser, a ruler and a
surface to write on like a clip board.
Potluck
Food & drink: We'll have hot dogs on the grill
(plus buns & fixin's) and cold drinks (juice, soda, water).
This is a potluck, so please bring a dish to share (side dish or
dessert). We'll update the menu as people respond. If you want
another protein (chicken, beef, fish) or something else to drink
(lemonade?), please bring it (no alcohol
allowed).
Picnicking:
We have the
large shelter next to the play area, plus a huge lawn to spread out
on, so bring a blanket, lawn chairs, or whatever you'd like to
picnic on.
RSVP: When you respond, please let
us know how many to expect and what you're bringing, and I'll post
updates to the menu and activities.
Volunteers
needed! Secondary grills are welcome, as well. Help
with setup and cleanup also appreciated, cooking - we actually have
the shelter reserved from 2:00PM till 8:00 PM to allow for that. We
will likely need some folks with folding tables for the CCF
as well as chairs. If you can assist with any of the volunteering
efforts, please note that in your "will attend" post as
well.
