Geocache Description:

Sick and tired of log only nano's?
Well here is a sort of offset cache to find if you find the "Four Mile Fiend" Nano too annoying.

Situated near the top of a service road that was initially designed as a service road to a lookout on the "Four Mile Hill" just south of Taree, this large cache may serve as a great drop off point for those large TB's that you've been carrying about.
The service road was constructed in 2005 as part of the "Coopernook Bypass" project. The initial idea was to utilise this high ground as a lookout that had a view over the villages of Wallabi and Diamond Head and also a glimpse of both Taree to the north and the Lansdowne Escarpment. The decision to abandon the completion of the lookout was probably a good one as 6 years of growth has inhibited most of the views anyway.
You can actually drive pretty close to the cache by taking the service road that starts just before the exit of the rest stop below or leave the car in the rest stop and take a pleasant (but slightly steep) stroll to the top.
Whichever way you go, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding this large cache.
Plenty of swaps at time of listing.
Happy Hunting
