Scared of heights?
Well don’t be, you are going to the Highest point in Suffolk with fantastic views and you can see for miles on a clear day!
It can be done as a ‘walk-in’ from the village of Rede or as a ‘cache & dash’ from the A143 near Depden.
A number of interesting facts for you:
Suffolk's highest point is at Rede between Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill - only 128m or 420ft above sea level.
England's highest point is Scafell Pike at 3,210ft, but Ben Nevis, at 4,408ft, is Britain's highest peak.
However, Everest is the big one! An absolutely stunning 8850m or 29,035ft above sea level and on a clear day you can’t see Suffolk!
Enjoy the cache!
