The twelfth of Water Slider's series of walks on the footpaths around the villages of north and north east Leeds. More east this time as we move to Ledsham and Fairburn.
This is a five mile circular walk starting in the village of Ledsham on public bridleways and footpaths.
There are 17 caches and a bonus, if you do all 17, some, but not all have information which will allow you to find the bonus cache. It’s the normal mix of film canisters and clip boxes, but with a few different ones too.
Parking is available on Holy Rood Lane, near to #1, we parked at N 53° 45.727 W 001° 18.240.
From number 10 continue along the path in the wood.
This is a small clip container with room for small swaps.
This cache is hidden on the Fairburn Ings Nature Reserve and is placed with the kind permission of the RSPB.
