Ledsham and Fairburn Walk #14 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

The twelfth of Water Slider's series of walks on the footpaths around the villages of north and north east Leeds. More east this time as we move to Ledsham and Fairburn.

This is a five mile circular walk starting in the village of Ledsham on public bridleways and footpaths.

There are 17 caches and a bonus, if you do all 17, some, but not all have information which will allow you to find the bonus cache. It’s the normal mix of film canisters and clip boxes, but with a few different ones too.

Parking is available on Holy Rood Lane, near to #1, we parked at N 53° 45.727 W 001° 18.240.

From number 13 turn right and go down the gravel track. Follow the signs towards the visitors centre and car park, turn right by the frog along the raised footpath. Go past the visitors centre then through the car park, go over the road and follow the path by the North Yorkshire sign.

This is a small clip container with room for small swaps
